Why generic quote tools don't work for window installers

Tools like Jobber, ServiceTitan or a generic quoting app are built for “the average contractor”. For a window installer that means daily workarounds: working out the VAT scenario by hand, no frame-specific configurator, no e-signature adequate for a €8,000+ B2B approval, and no way to split a quote into a deposit and instalments. Your time goes into checking the quote, not making it.

  • Visual frame configurator — 32 standard frame types (tilt-turn, sliding door, fixed glass, folding wall, etc.), choice of aluminium / uPVC / timber, all common RAL colours, double / triple / acoustic glass, security hardware. Live pricing as you configure.
  • Branded PDF quote — your logo, colours, intro text and terms attached as appendix.
  • Two-step e-signature — customer receives a unique link, opens the portal in your branding, signs with finger or mouse. Audit log with IP, timestamp and geolocation. Legally binding under EU eIDAS.
  • Deposit and instalments by bank transfer — 30% down-payment at approval, balance after delivery. Your customer gets IBAN, amount and reference in the portal; no payment provider taking a cut.
  • Dutch VAT built in — pick the scenario per quote: 21% standard, the 9% renovation rate for Dutch homes older than 2 years, or domestic reverse-charge between contractors (art. 12(5) Wet OB). The quote and invoice carry the required wording. Rates for other countries are not modelled.
  • Customer portal with live status — customer sees progress from approval → production → delivery → installation. No more “how's it going” emails.
  • AI photo analysis — take photos on-site, AI identifies existing dimensions and suggests an initial configuration. Saves 10-15 min per measurement.

Does it handle VAT reverse-charge?
Yes, for the Dutch domestic reverse-charge (art. 12(5) Wet OB) used between contractors. You pick the VAT scenario per quote — 21% standard, 9% renovation rate, or reverse-charged — and the quote and invoice carry the required statement. The software models Dutch VAT; rates for other countries are not built in and have to be set up manually.
Does the software work on mobile during site visits?
Yes. The configurator and dashboard are fully mobile. You record measurements (incl. photos) directly on-site, generate a draft quote and refine later at the office. AI photo analysis helps identify dimensions.
